KCCA FC dropped two points at Express FC in a four-goal thriller at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku on Thursday evening.

Substitute Joseph Akandanwaho scored with 13 minutes to play to hand Express a hard fought draw after KCCA FC had staged a comeback in an entertaining StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter.

Initially, Martin Kizza put Express in the lead in the 19th minute but goals from Julius Poloto in the 43rd minute and Sadat Anaku in the 52nd minute had sent the Visitors on course for maximum points.

The result dents KCCA FC’s title hopes as it left them three points adrift of leaders Vipers who are on 43 points from 19 games played so far.

Express on the other hand, remains winless under interim coach James Odoch and are now sixth with 30 points.

In their next assignments, Express FC will visit Gaddafi FC on March 8th while KCCA FC will host SC Villa at MTN Omondi Lugogo on March 12.
