Super Middleweight pugilist John Sserunjogi has landed a partnership with Kebab House Restaurant to cater for his feeding during ahead of his ABU fight against Egypt’s Ahmed Borishe.

The fight is set to be held at the climax of ABU convention set for 18th to 23rd August 2024 at Hotel Africana in Kampala.

Kebab House Restaurant house restaurant will provide all balanced diets and drinks to Sserunjogi as per package unveiled on 5th August.

The night will have 7 confirmed bouts, starting at 7pm and closing at midnight.

He began his professional career in November 2013 without any amateur experience. To date, he has fought 17 matches, winning 15.

The 2024 Africa Boxing Union (ABU) convention has today 1st August launched at Hotel Africana in Kampala.

The convention will attract all professional boxing national bodies from across the continent.

The five day events will run from 18th – 23rd August 2024. Series of activities ranging from ring officials; agents and promoters’ seminar and a long list of bouts at the climax.

Onto the long list of fights, the main fight will be between Uganda’s Super Middleweight pugilist John Sserunjogi and Egyptian Ahmed Borishe.

There shall also be a regional Super Welterweight title contest for East and Central Africa between Uganda’s National champion Isaac Zebra Ssenyange Jr. and an opponent yet to be identified.

On the same day, Joshua Nyanzi (Spyder) will battle Power Jjunju in a welterweight bout.
