Kitara FC’s goalkeeper Micheal Kagiri saved two penalties as his side eliminated Free Stars FC 3-0 in spot kicks after a full-time goalless draw at the 49th edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

Jasper Aheebwa, John Wesley Kisakye and Abbas Kateregga converted from the spot for the Big League side.

Eastern Regional League side Admin FC rallied from behind to defeat Northern Gateway 5-1.

Raymond Othieno scored a hat trick in the second half before
Ivan Nsubuga and Hakim Offee scored each for Admin FC

Emmanuel Ekol scored the consolation for Northern Gateway.

NEC FC lost 1-0 to Pajule Lions, Luweero United was defeated 3-2 by Blue Stars FC and Soroti City lost 2-1 to Junior Eagles.

Kitara FC, Pajule Lions, Junior Eagles FC, Blue Stars FC and Admin FC progress to the round of 32.
