Eastern giants who are also the the reigning Stanbic Uganda Cup champions Bul football club target a perfect title defense start against minnows Sparks FC this evening.

Bul football club will have a short trip to Mukono to face Sparks at Kirondo Grounds.

Sparks FC are  Buganda region debutantes who eliminated Nakifuma United in the preliminary round to storm the Round of 64.

The Buganda regional league outfits will battle for a slot into the last 32 against Alex Isabirye coached side BUL FC.

By outclassing Vipers SC in last year’s four (4) goal thriller final, BUL won their first ever historic Uganda Cup trophy.

In a final played at Boma grounds in Masindi on 12th June 2022, BUL FC beat Vipers SC 3-1 before a huge crowd.

Forward Karim Ndungwa  who has recently joined Vipers SC scored a brace and a goal from Simon Peter Oketch as BUL made history.

On the day’s menu card, Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC will face Kitara region outfit Bujumbura United in Hoima.

Stanbic Uganda Cup all time winners Express FC will play Kajjansi United.

Uganda’s most decorated giants SC Villa will start the campaign against Kireka United.

Whilst, KCCA FC face Kampala region’s Kampala Junior Team (KJT) as Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) FC lock horns with            Uganda Pentecostal University (Kabarole).
