Police through Yusuf Ssozi regained their lead converting Tony Mawejje’s explicit pass in the 22nd minute before Ben Ocen made it 3-1 at just 33 minutes played.
Bright Stars bounced back with great resilience until Ben Ocen released Derrick Kakooza to score the 4th for Police in 75th minutes.
The two sides will meet on Wednesday for a return leg in Kavumba to confirm the aggregate winner of the tie.
Bright Stars eliminated Paidha Black Angels by a 3-2 aggregate score after two legs whilst Police beat Calvary FC by 10-1 on aggregate.
