The highly anticipated match, played on a rain-soaked evening at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, drew a massive crowd and lived up to its billing, showcasing high-intensity action, skill, and memorable moments.

Bahat Bitwayiki broke the deadlock early in the first half, slotting the ball into an empty net after goalkeeper Waibi was left exposed.

This victory marked Kitende’s back-to-back triumph, having defended their last year’s 1-0 final win over the same opponent.

The road to the final was marked by impressive performances from both teams. Kitende dominated Kakungulu High School 6-0 in the quarterfinals, with Isaac Tibenkana scoring a brace and goals from Santos Agok, Arafat Nkoola, and Mwondha Jaidi.

Buddo SS, meanwhile, secured their spot in the semifinals with a 1-0 win over Kyadondo SS, thanks to Dickson Barasah’s crucial goal.

In the semifinals, Kitende edged out Standard High School-Zzana 1-0, thanks to a late header from Santos Agok, while Buddo SS overcame Greenlight Islamic Secondary School-Nansana 1-0.

Standard High School-Zzana claimed the bronze medal with a 2-1 win over Greenlight Islamic Secondary School-Nansana in the third-place playoff.
