Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club is set to unveil experienced manager Sam Timbe according to reports.

The CAF ‘A’ coaching license holder will be at the helms of the club for the next one year as they target triumphs in the forthcoming CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

He will work alongside and already established backroom staff of Simeon Masaba (coach), Robert Mukasa (Assistant coach), Steven Billy Kiggundu (Goalkeeping coach) and former Vipers trainer Edward Ssali (Trainer).

Former manager Sam Simbwa’s dismissal left a vacuum as his replacement Simeon Masaba does not meet the CAF required standards.

In the new establishment, veteran coach Timbe will lead the line but Masaba remains the man in full control.

In 2020, Timbe signed a three-year deal with Malaysia premier league side, Persatuan Bolasepak Sarawak Football Club having been jobless since 2018 when he quit Tusker FC (Kenya).

He won the CECAFA Kagame Cup with Sports Club Villa (2005), Police FC (2006), Rwanda’s Atraco (2009) and Tanzania’s Young Africans (2011).

Timbe also won the national league titles in Rwanda and Tanzania. He also coached Sofapaka Sports Club in Kenya.
