The reigning StarTimes Uganda Premier champions Express FC claims that they are ready for their encounter against Al-Merrikh.

The Red Eagles will lock horns with the Sudanese giants on Friday September 10 2021 at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende in the preliminary round of CAF Champions League.

According to Express FC captain Enock Walusimbi, the team is ready for the encounter on Friday.

“We are ready for tomorrow’s game, we respect Al-Merrikh it’s a good team but we are going to use our experience from Cecafa Kagame Cup that we won so that we can get a win tomorrow,” Walusimbi said.

Meanwhile, according to Express FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa, the team is targeting a win from tomorrow’s game.

“We have been preparing for this game since we won Cecafa Kagame Cup, the players are confident and we have a fully fit squad. We are targeting a win tomorrow,” Bbosa said.

Express targets the group stages of CAF Champions League in this year’s competition.
