Buwambo United has maintained its perfect start to the 2025/26 Buganda Regional League season, securing a 2-0 win over Manyangwa FC at Buwambo Grounds.

Midfielder Patrick Wasswa and Brian Muwayira scored the goals, with Wasswa’s strike taking his tally to two for the season.

Buwambo United’s unbeaten run now stretches to four wins, and a walkover, and they top the 16-team log with 15 points, five points ahead of second-placed Simba FC.

Simba FC, who won 1-0 over Synergy FC, are hot on the heels of Buwambo United, while Kira United’s 1-0 win over Masaka City has propelled them into third place.

Other notable results include Nantabulirwa’s 1-0 win over Nyendo United, and Buikwe Red Stars’ 2-2 draw with Young Simba.
