FT: Uganda Martyrs University 2-0 Kampala University

Uganda Martyrs University beat Kampala University to climb to group E table.

Moses Kakooza and Sunny Kaija scored in the 27th and 88th minute respectively to earn Uganda Martyrs University a 2-0 win over Kampala University in the Pepsi University Football League game played in Nkozi on Thursday evening.

Victory for UMU gives them a perfect revenge for their 2-1 first leg loss away to KU. It also meant that all the 4 teams in Group E are tied on six (6)

With only two games left for each side, goal difference separates the 4 teams in Group E after 4 games each; UMU is top followed by Ndejje University, Gulu University and KU are positioned 3rd and 4th respectively.

Action in the University Football League will continue on Friday with a Group C fixture between Bishop Stuart University and Kyambogo University in Mbarara at 3pm.
