Bishop Stuart University beat newbies ISBAT University by 3-1 at the ongoing PEPSI University Football League.

The match-day three game was held on Thursday evening, the 14^th September 2023 in Mbarara.

Christopher Muhwezi, Honest Atwijukire and Ashil Agaba were on target for the Mbarara based Bishop Stuart University. Whilst, Geoffrey Pirwoth scored for ISBAT.

Muhwezi converted from a penalty mark in 31 minutes of the game to give the host Bishop Stuart a 1-0 lead.

Two minutes into the second half, Honest Atwijukire extended the lead to 2-0 in the 47^th minute of play before Ashil Agaba sealed the victory with the 3^rd at 63.

ISBAT University through Pirwoth Geoffrey scored via a penalty in 67 minutes to pull one back for the newbies.

Games continue today with one more tie between Kabale University and University of Kisubi (UNIK) at Kabale.
