As Ntugasaze FC prepare for life in the Uganda Premier League, the club has moved to reinforce its technical bench with the appointment of experienced tactician Dudu Bosco as head coach ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The decision reflects both ambition and compliance. FUFA’s directive requiring all top-flight head coaches to hold a CAF A Coaching Licence effectively shaped the club’s choice—criteria Bosco comfortably satisfies, bringing with him a wealth of elite-level experience.

Bosco steps into the role following the departure of Morgan Chancely, the architect of Ntugasaze’s historic promotion.

While Chancely delivered top-flight status, the club has opted for a more seasoned profile to navigate the significantly higher demands of Premier League football.

Ntugasaze confirmed Bosco’s arrival via their official communication channels, corroborating earlier reports that had linked him to the position.

His résumé includes managerial stints at Calvary FC and NEC FC, where he built a reputation for tactical discipline and competitive organization.

Beyond club football, Bosco’s credentials are further underlined by his success on the regional stage, having guided West Nile Province to FUFA Drum Cup triumph—an achievement that cemented his standing among Uganda’s respected coaching figures.

For a side entering its debut top-flight campaign, the appointment signals a clear objective: survival with structure.

Ntugasaze will be banking on Bosco’s experience to stabilize performances, instill tactical identity, and steer the club clear of relegation threats.

The 2026/27 Uganda Premier League season is slated to commence on August 28, with fixtures expected to be unveiled in late July—setting the stage for Ntugasaze’s historic first campaign among the country’s elite.
