Mbogo High School girls Badminton side took home the trophy after their 100% winning run to complete a title defence.

Mbogo won all their five (5) games over its opponents in a signature performance.

While addressing the media, an excited Nakiyemba Nazifah, the Mbogo High School player hailed their triumph as a motivation and confidence reward ahead of FEASSA Games.

“We have emerged the overall best in the girls School championship now we are looking forward to winning the East African games (FEASSA).

Our young players have been given some games to play and have gained a bit of experience in this League which is very important.” Nakayemba.

Winning the league, Mbogo High outclassed Progressive Secondary School (7-0), Kinaawa High School- Mugongo, Gayaza High School, St Micheal International and Nawandala SS (7-0).

On other hand Kinaawa Schools- Kawempe emerged boys category champions.

To become champions Kinaawa High garnered a 100%  Winning record. With four in four wins, Kinaawa were deservingly crowned champions.

Kinaawa defeated Progressive Secondary School, Kinaawa High School- Mugongo, St Micheal International and Nawandala SS.

The league also had the primary category on menu and Ebenezer Primary School came out as victors.

The champions overcame  St Catherine and Green Valley Primary Schools.

This was Mbogo High School’s second consecutive trophy in two editions after they were named the winners on the girls side

As of now super league and Corporate league winners are  yet to be decided. Ndejje University and CFK corporate are defending champions from first edition.

Both Leagues are expected to commence on 3rd August 2024 with its climax set for November this year.
