Mawogola West 2025 Sports Festival is confirmed to be launched on 1st  January 2025.

The mega Sports festival will will run through the entire 2025 with Lwebitakuli Sub-County as the host of this inaugural event.

Sports enthusiast Katerega Uthman Mwanadamu, who is the Vision bearer, stated that there is a need to develop sports and change the mindset of the people of Mawogola as far as sports is concerned.

“We need to identify talents and develop them as well as building confidence in our people.” Stated, Uthman Katerega Mwanadamu

For proper planning of the festival, over 25 people from Mawogola have been trained to take a mantle of responsibilities and are now knowledgeable on how to do things in the right way.

Among the sports disciplines and activities identified ahead of the festival are Miss Mawogola, Ludo, Mweezo, Pool Table, Bicycle racing, Netball and Football.
