In the third-place playoff, Busoga College Mwiri secured the bronze medal with a dominant 19–0 victory over Kabukunge Muslim Secondary School, bouncing back strongly from their semi-final disappointment.
Earlier in the knockout stages, Mbarara High School blanked Kijjabwemi Secondary School 12–0 in the quarter-finals, while Busoga College Mwiri powered past Kiira College Butiki 19–7.
Makerere College School demonstrated their attacking prowess with a 29–12 win over London College of St. Lawrence, and Kabukunge Muslim edged Kitgum Comprehensive School 12–7 in one of the closest contests of the round.
In the girls’ category, Jinja Secondary School emerged as undisputed champions after an unbeaten run in the round-robin format tournament.
Their consistency and cohesion saw them finish top of the six-team standings ahead of Nkoma Secondary School, who claimed second place.
Kijjabwemi Secondary School secured third position, followed by Kitgum Progressive in fourth.
St. John’s Wakitaka and St. Katherine Secondary School finished fifth and sixth respectively.
