The 2024/25 Finance Trust Women Super League matchday four kicked off this Saturday morning, with table leaders Kawempe earning a slim 1-0 win over She Makerere FC, Amus putting four past Wakiso Hill, and Rines securing a narrow 1-0 victory over Tooro Queens.

In Kawempe, the table leaders continued their excellent performance, registering their fourth consecutive win of the season over She Makerere FC.

Talented Hadijah Nandago’s first-half goal was enough to hand the Valley Warriors a hard-fought win, keeping them top of the table.

This was She Makerere FC’s first loss of the season and the first goal they have conceded, while Kawempe remains unbeaten and yet to concede this season.

The Ayub Khalifa-coached side is now five points clear at the top, ahead of second-placed Amus College WFC.

Newcomers Amus College WFC trashed Wakiso Hill WFC, handing them their second loss of the season.

Shayline Ikalakala netted a brace, Doreen Aujat added one, and an own goal by Faridah Namirimu sealed a comfortable win for Amus.

Amus has now won two games, drawn once, and lost once, sitting second on the log with seven points, five points behind defending champions Kawempe.

Wakiso Hill remains winless with only two points from a possible twelve and stays in the relegation zone.

In Buhinga, Tooro Queens lost 1-0 to Rines SS WFC at home.

Phiona Arachi’s goal helped the visitors register their first victory this season.

The Nyanzi-coached side has won one game, lost one, and drawn one, awaiting a verdict from the competitions department for their abandoned game against Olila H/S WFC.
