On Saturday morning, matchday four of the 2024/25 Finance Trust Women Super League saw Kampala Queens play to a goalless draw with Uganda Martyrs, while Olila and She Maroons also shared spoils in a barren draw.

In Lugogo, Kampala Queens failed to secure their first home victory as Uganda Martyrs held them to a draw.

Both teams had scoring chances; Sumaya Komuntale’s first-half goal was flagged offside, and Shamusa Najjuma was denied by the crossbar in the second half.

Uganda Martyrs had a glorious chance to win the game in the last minute, but Immaculate Nakanjako’s shot inside the box was saved by goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro.

The draw leaves Kampala Queens winless at home but still unbeaten, sitting third on the log with six points, six points behind table leaders Kawempe Muslim.

Uganda Martyrs, who lost their first two games, have gained four points in their last two games and now sit ninth with four points.

In Soroti, Olila played to a goalless draw with She Maroons. The visitors remain winless this season, with two consecutive draws and one loss.

The game against Rines, which was abandoned, awaits a decision from the competitions committee.

She Maroons sit fifth with five points, having conceded only one goal this season in their 1-0 loss to Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC.

The matchday four of the 2024/25 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League concludes on Sunday, October 20, 2024, with She Corporate FC visiting Lady Doves FC in Masindi.
