URA FC have officially unveiled David Obua as their new head coach on a one year employment contract.

“We are delighted to announce the appointment of David Obua as the new head coach of the club on a 1 year contract.” Read an official statement from the Tax Collectors confirming Obua’s appointment

Obua takes over from Fred Muhumuza who has been serving on interim basis since the death of Sam Timbe.

The former Uganda Cranes International recently completed a UEFA A diploma course.

He will assisted by Peter Byaruhanga Adyeri and Muhumuza as his first and second assistants respectively.

In the past he coached at Maroons FC and Lango Province in the FUFA Drum tournament.

Obua’s first assignment in charge will be against Kitara FC on Friday 10th November at Mehta Stadium in Lugazi.
