KCCA 3-1 Vipers

KCCA FC beat Vipers SC to register their first win of the season in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

The four goal (3-1) thrilling entertainment was held at Philip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo on Friday, the 10th November.

Shaban Muhammad scored a brace and a goal from Usama Arafat for KCCA whilst, Abubaker Lawal scored Vipers’ consolation late in the final bend of the game.

The loss kept defending champions, Vipers, in the third place on 14 points, four behind leaders BUL.

The win moved KCCA FC to the 14th place on seven points. KCCA had lost their first five matches and drawn the sixth coming into this.

Man of the Match Muhammad Shaban, scored against the goalkeeper Jack Komakech off Haruna Lukwago pass two minutes into the game

Shaban completed his scoring the second for KCCA in the 58th minute. There was total lack of concentration in the Vipers SC defence allowing a cut-in from Arafat Usama to set Shaban.

Usama Arafat made it 3-0 for KCCA in injury time. Katenga Etienne cut inside and was fouled, however , the referee waved play on and the ball landed onto Usama’s path to comfortably beat goalie  Komakech inside the area.
