Asubo Ladies FC chose a better opponent to break the duck on registering their very first point of the 2023/24 FUFA Women Super League.

Putting all their lame start to the season at the back of their mind, the table bottom occupants drew 2-2 against the 3rd placed Uganda Martyrs WFC.

The silent mode for the noisy students in stands started as early as four (4) minutes into the game.

Zaina Namboozo completed her brace with the second, heading home in the 18th minute.

However, the visitors lost a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2. Latifah Nakassi scored the first for Uganda Martyrs and her season’s third in 38th.

Only two minutes to the break, Moureen Kiiza equalized for the host to secure a point for her side.

Towards the 90 minutes, two goals hero was shown matching orders after her second bookable offense.

Asubo stayed at bottom of the ten team log with just a point after match-day four.

Meanwhile, Uganda Martyrs WFC hit the table summit tied on seven points with second and third placed Kampala Queens and Kawempe Muslim Ladies who have a game in hand.
