The 2026 Uganda Muslim Education Association Solidarity Games Netball tournament got off to an electrifying start on Friday at Maluku Grounds, with last year’s semifinalists Kaddugala Secondary School making an emphatic statement in their chase for the maiden UMEA trophy.

Kaddugala SS dominated their opening day fixture, trouncing Kakukugulu Memorial Secondary School 17-6, immediately establishing themselves as top contenders to lead Group E.

The side will face Ngando Secondary School in their next group stage match tomorrow, aiming to build on their commanding start.

Hosted by Nkoma Secondary School in Mbale, this edition sees Kaddugala SS determined to surpass last year’s performance, where they fell to Greenlight Islamic Secondary School 22-11 in the semifinals.
