The 2025 Kabaka Cup Round of 16 draws were conducted last evening at Kawanda SS, marking the beginning of the knockout stage.

The highly anticipated draws have set the stage for thrilling encounters, with hosts Kawanda SS paired against Buddo SS in the biggest fixture of this stage.

Buddo SS topped Group J with seven points, while Kawanda SS finished second in Group H, also with seven points, but suffered a goals difference disadvantage, tying with leaders Kyaddondo SS on points.

St. Mary’s Kitende A team, who led the three-team Group A with six points, will face Mbogo Mixed, while Kawempe SS will battle Kawempe Muslim Secondary School.

The highest-scoring team in the tournament, Kyaddondo SS, will face Nile High School, while St. Andrews Kaggwa will lock horns with National champions St. Julian High School.

St. Mary’s Kitende Guest Team was paired with St. Francis Busunjju, and St. Austin will play Lubiri SS.

The final Round of 16 pair will feature the Aggrey Zone derby between Standard High School and Ndejje High-Lubugumu.

All Round of 16 and quarterfinal matches will be played today at six different venues: Uganda Martyrs High-Lubaga, Kawempe Muslim, Kawanda SS, Kawanda Research, Namarere, and Mbogo Mixed.

The semifinals will take place on Saturday, March 15th, while the finals will be held on Sunday, March 16th, at Kawanda SS.
