Fresh Dairy Games 2024: Sylvia Kabene slaughters Boni Concili as St. Noa storm semi-finals

The U-17 National Women’s football team (Teen Cranes) forward Sylvia Kabene scored a record four (4) goals in St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana’s 7-0 quarter-final emphatic win against Boni Concili.

Kabene opened scoring in the 12th minute. She later scored in the 38th, 49th and 67th minutes to inspire St. Noa to their straight 7th semi-finals in a row since 2017.

Sumayiah Nalumu (brace) and Madera Nancy were the others on target for 2022 champions St. Noa.

In the first semi-finals, holders Amus College School Bukedea thumped Sacred Hearts Gulu 5-0. Shayine Opisa scored a hat-trick and a goal from Edina Wanda and Doreen Wandera.

Meanwhile, record champions Kawempe Muslim Secondary School eliminated resilient Uganda Martyrs High School by 5-3 via penalties.

The normal time ended goalless.

Rines SS is the other side to storm the semi-finals after their slim 2-1 victory against Sheema Girls.

Priscah Ayerango and Halima Mupyanga scored for Rines, while, Shamirah Kaitesi netted for Sheema.

After the quarter-finals, Rines SS will battle against holders Amus College in the first semi-final on Thursday, 21st at 2pm.

St. Noa Girls will renew acquaintances with old rivals Kawempe Muslim in the last semi-final at 4pm.

The final will be held on Friday, the 21st at Standard High School – Ndejje.
