The 2025/2026 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League season is set to kick off on October 3, 2025, with six exciting fixtures lined up for Match Day One.

Finance Trust Bank has injected Shs2.5 billion into the league, with an annual increment promised, to strengthen awards, visibility, and club development.

Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Finance Trust Bank, Lubega Paul Percy, expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying, “We are happy with the partnership that aligns with our objective of uplifting women.

We are committed to once again award the best performing players, coaches, and journalists every month.”

FUFA Competitions Director Hajjat Aisha Nalule assured fans that logistics, licensing, and fixtures are all in place, adding, “We call upon clubs to enhance security and have ambulances during the matches.”

Coaches’ Expectations

Reigning champions Kampala Queens FC will face off against record champions Kawempe Muslim Ladies in the season opener.

Sharon Kizza, assistant coach at Kampala Queens, is confident about retaining their crown, stating, “Our ultimate target is very clear – to win back-to-back titles.”

Kawempe Muslim’s coach, Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi, is equally determined, saying, “We want to win all 22 games and at the end of the season become Champions.”

Friday, October 3:

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC vs. Kampala Queens FC at Kawempe Muslim Ground (4 pm)

Saturday, October 4:

– Asubo Ladies FC vs. She Maroons FC at Kampala Quality Ground (10 am)

– She Corporate FC vs. Uganda Martyrs High School WFC at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru (10 am)

– Amus College WFC vs. St Noa Girls Zana at Amus College Stadium (10 am)

Sunday, October 5:

– Lady Doves FC vs. Olila High School WFC at Katusabe Ground (10 am)

– Makerere University WFC vs. Rines SS WFC at Makerere University Ground (10 am)
