The 2024 Federation of East Africa Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) Games match-day one for basketball girls has climaxed.

Defending champions St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School – Kitende have started their title defence with a 58-43 convincing win against Orkeeswa of Kenya.

In the same Group, Uganda’s Nabisunsa Girls Secondary School lost 45-55 to Buru Buru of Kenya.

Meanwhile, St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana beat Butere of Kenya 67-41 to register their first win at this year’s tournament.

Buddo Secondary School, another Uganda representative slipped, to lose 71-60 to Rwanda champions GS Marie Reine Musanze.

Meanwhile, Seroma Christian High School won 14-13 against Butere Girls (Kenya) while Nabisunsa beat NASOKOL (Kenya) 19-12 in 3×3 basketball.

The games will continue tomorrow at Amus College School Bukedea.
