St Noa Girls Secondary School have booked a ticket to represent Uganda at the forthcoming CECAFA Zonal School qualifiers for CAF Schools Championship.

To qualify, the Zana based school registered a hard-fought 1-0 win over Kawempe Muslim Secondary School during the U15 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games II Girls football final.

The final and decider match was played on Thursday, the 5th  September 2024, at Teso College – Aloet Grounds.

A goal from Elizabeth Nabukera in the 12th minute of play was the difference between the two teams.

This triumph was sweet revenge for St. Noa Girls as the later lost 2-1 in last year’s final to the very Kawempe Muslim Secondary School at St. Mary’s College – Rushoroza.

After this championship, St Noa Girls will turn their focus to preparing for the CECAFA Zonal Championship.
