Started today Thursday 23rd at Kati-Kati Restaurant in Lugogo, Kampala, the course will run up to Monday 27th September.

The course was organized by Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) under the supervision of the Africa Boxing body and International Boxing Associations (AIBA).

UBF capacity building officials including the president who holds an International Technical Officers’ (ITO) certificate Moses Muhangi among others will be the main facilitators throughout the exercise.

The course is aimed at beefing up the technical ability and capacity of national referees and judges, coaches from affiliate clubs, clubs executive members, retired boxers with international experience and UBF executive, secretariat and officials.

It should be remembered that the N.T.O certificate became a requirement for any individual seeking for a UBF executive leadership position.

This came into effect after the passing and confirmation of the new amendments in the UBF constitution on 8th April 2021.

Only national referees and judges, coaches from affiliate clubs, clubs executive members, retired boxers with international experience and UBF executive, secretariat and officials are eligible for the course.
