Ngoonge’s goalkeeper Micheal Lutaaya saved two penalties to send his side to the final of the Bika Byabaganda Football tournament past Nsenene at Wankulukuku.

The game had ended in a one all draw in the normal time. Ngoonge captain Emmanuel Wasswa put his side in lead from the spot after Nsenene defender Edward Masembe holding the ball in the box.

Masembe equalised the  game for Nseenene. The first leg ended in a one all draw.

With Lutaaya’s  two penalties save heroics, Ngoonge stormed the final on 9-8 in penalties

Ngoonge will face off with Mbogo in the 49th edition final of the Bika Byabaganda Football tournament on Saturday 26th August at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku

Mbogo eliminated Omutima Omusagi on a 6-1 aggregate to progress to the final.

The third play off will be between Omutima Omusagi and Nsenene.

The Bika Netball final will also be played on that day Nnyonyi Nyange will face off with Ngeye. Whilst the Netball third play off will be between Mamba Namakaka and Nkima.
