The Betpawa Futsal Super League is gearing up for an exciting Week 8, with leaders Crown Lubiri and Mengo City aiming to maintain their impressive form.

Crown Lubiri, unbeaten in seven outings, will face Kisenyi FC, a mid-table team struggling to replicate last season’s performance.

Despite Kisenyi FC’s inconsistent form, Illias Omran has been a standout player, ranking second on the top scorers chart with 12 goals.

Crown Lubiri Coach Najeeb Abdulrazak expressed confidence in his team’s abilities, stating, “It is the same game as any other game we have played, and we are looking forward to replicating our performance and continuing to win matches.”

Meanwhile, Mengo City will face Kabowa Dream Team, seeking to build on their impressive 17-goal tally in the last two games. Mengo City’s Sharif Opuuli, Farouk Tumwesigye, and Abdul Karim Tebela have been instrumental in the team’s success.

Coach Abdul Fata Somali emphasized his team’s preparedness, saying, “We are playing a very good team, but we are looking forward to continuing our form. We are very well prepared.”

The Week 8 fixtures will commence at 1600hrs, with four games scheduled throughout the day, culminating in the final matchup at 2100hrs.
