The stage is set for an exciting 2025 Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Associations (FEASSA) girls’ football final, with defending champions St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana facing off against three-time champions Kawempe Muslim.

The highly anticipated match is scheduled to take place on Friday, August 22nd, at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega, Kenya.

St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana secured their spot in the final with a 1-0 win over Amus College School in the semi-finals, courtesy of a free kick strike from forward Sumayah Nalumu.

The team finished the group stages unbeaten, topping Group A with 13 points from four wins and one draw, scoring 13 goals without conceding.

Kawempe Muslim, on the other hand, reached the final with a convincing 4-2 win over Kenya’s Archbishop Njenga Girls School in the semi-final.

Gigantic forward Agnes Nabukenya scored all four goals, extending her tournament tally to nine goals.

Kawempe finished second in Group A with 11 points, having scored seven goals and conceded only one.

The final promises to be a thrilling encounter between two of Uganda’s most successful schools in the FEASSA Girls’ Football tournament.

St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana and Kawempe Muslim are among the few schools to have won the title, with St. Noa claiming the title twice (2022 and 2024) and Kawempe Muslim winning it three times (2012, 2019, and 2023).

Nangwa Comprehensive School is the other Ugandan school to have won the title (2003).

The 2025 FEASSA Girls’ Football final is set to be an exciting match between two of Uganda’s top schools.

Will St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana retain their title, or will Kawempe Muslim emerge victorious?
