Leicester City’s forward Ademola Lookman has been summoned in Nigeria’s provisional squad ahead of their 2022 World Cup play-off tie against rivals Ghana.

The two sides face off on March 25^th at a 20,000 capacity Cape Coast Stadium in Ghana. The return leg for the same fixture is set for 29^th in Abuja.

The aggregate winner from the tie will be one of Africa’s five tickets holders to the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar, starting on 21^St November to 18^th December.

The forward, (Lookman) was been cleared by FIFA to feature for Nigeria despite representing England at under-age teams.

Lookma joins Calvin Bassey of Scottish champions Rangers and FC Copenhagen youngster Akinkunmi Amoo who are uncapped in the Nigerian summoned squad

Watford forward Emmanuel Dennis and striker Odion Ighalo, who were blocked by their clubs from featuring at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon are part of the squad this time.
