The African Rally Championship is set for a thrilling conclusion this weekend in Morogoro, Tanzania, as reigning contenders Yasin Nasser and Samman Vohra battle for the top spot.

The two drivers are neck and neck, with only eight points separating them – Yasin Nasser leads with 118 points, while Samman Vohra trails closely with 106 points.

Yasin Nasser, driving for the Moil Rally Team, will be competing on his home turf in Tanzania.

This could give him an edge, but he’ll need to outperform Samman Vohra or finish right behind him to secure the title.

Nasser has previously come close to winning the championship, finishing second in 2021 behind Carl Tundo.

Samman Vohra’s Strong Rally Approach
Samman Vohra, on the other hand, boasts a stronger rally approach, with two wins and an impressive performance in the championship.

His co-driver, Drew Sturrock, has experience in high-pressure situations, having won three ARC titles.

Vohra’s Skoda Fabia Rally2 is expected to set the pace in Morogoro.

The title showdown will be intensified by competing crews, including Karan Patel and Ahmed Huwel, who could influence the positions and cause a shift in the title run-in.

With the championship hanging in the balance, both Nasser and Vohra will need to push their limits to emerge victorious.

The Morogoro rally promises to be an exhilarating conclusion to the African Rally Championship season, with the winner set to claim their maiden title.

Will Yasin Nasser’s home advantage prove decisive, or will Samman Vohra’s strong rally approach secure his victory?

The outcome remains uncertain, making this a must-watch event for rally enthusiasts.
