AFCON QUALIFIERS: Uganda Cranes to face Egypt’s Ismaily in a friendly

Uganda Cranes will today Tuesday, 21st March 2023 play a friendly match against Ismaily SC at Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia City.

This is part of Cranes preparations prior to the AFCON Qualifier double header encounter against Tanzania on 24th and 28th March 2023.

Uganda Cranes left the country to Egypt on Sunday from where they will host Tanzania in the first leg tie.

This will be the second friendly match for the Cranes following a 2-0 defeat to Kitara regional select team last in Bundibujjo.

Uganda has one point from the opening two games in Group F and will be hoping to brighten the chances of qualifying to the biennial continental football tournament with positive results from this international window.
