AFCON Qualifiers: Uganda Cranes Sets Off to Nairobi for South Sudan Tie

According to FUFA website, Uganda Cranes contingent to Nairobi, Kenya has flown from Entebbe International Airport aboard Kenya Airways on Saturday morning.

Uganda will face South Sudan in the second leg of the AFCON qualifiers on 16th after a slim 1-0 win at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende in the first leg.

Substitute Halid Lwaliwa scored Uganda’s only goal in the game.
Uganda Cranes need maximum points from the match to secure a slot at the TOTAL 2021 AFCON finals in Cameroon.

Midfielder David Owori replaces the suspended Joseph Ochaya who picked a second caution in the qualifiers during the Thursday clash.

The rest of the players who made the match day squad during the 1-0 home win at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende are maintained.
