Since replacing Florence Bagunywa Nkalubo in 2013, Henry Ssekabembe Kiberu has this time missed out as His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II reshuffled the Buganda Kingdom cabinet.

Henry Ssekabembe Kiberu has been Minister for Youth, Sports and Recreation. The reshuffle was announced yesterday, 1st August 2023.

Robert Sserwanga replaced Ssekabembe with the ministry changing the name to Ministry for Youth, Sports and the Arts.

Ssekabembe’s contribution towards sports development in Buganda will live for ages and the development of both the Masaza Cup is one of his biggest achievement.

Charles Peter Mayiga was been maintained as the Katikkiro of the Kingdom whilst Twaha Kaawaase and Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa as his first and second deputies.
