KCCA FC have finally confirmed the resignation of former head coach Morley Byekwaso

Byekwaso resigned on Sunday after KCCA being eliminated in the Stanbic Uganda Cup 1-0 by Soltilo Bright Stars at Kavumba grounds.

The club appreciated his services at the club and wished him the best in his next journey,

“KCCA acknowledges receipt of Morley Byekwaso’s resignation.”

“Byekwaso was appointed as interim manager in April 2021 until the end of the 2020/21 season.”

“Thereafter he was appointed as the manager/ Head coach of KCCA FC from 2021 to June 2024.”

“The club recognizes immense contribution in making KCCA the leading club in Uganda and everyone at the club wishes him well in his future endeavors.” Read some parts of the club statement

Byekwaso joined KCCA FC in 2016 as an assistant to Mike Mutebi , he was worked under Matia Lule and George Best Nsimbe.

During his stay at KCCA, the club won three league titles, two Uganda Cup championships, four Super Cup titles and one CECAFA Cup title

KCCA will play URA FC on Wednesday and it will be Badru Kaddu Mukasa at the helms.
