KCCA FC host Blacks Power FC on match day six of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League 2022/23 at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo as they host third win in the league.

Blacks Power is a new entrant in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Blacks Power FC is yet to win a game in the league this season. They have shared spoils twice, and lost thrice in 5 games played this term.

KCCA FC on the other hand has won twice and lost twice in four games played this term.

KCCA FC lost 1-0 to Maroons FC in the previous league game last Friday at Luzira Prisons while Blacks Power FC shared spoils with Arua Hill FC at home.

“We have prepared quite well for our opponent and we are focusing on getting consisitent in our performances. We want to get back to winning ways and grind out results and not forgetting the most important thing which is playing well.”

“Blacks Power might be a new team in the league but have some players that have been playing in the league for a while like Bronson, Baden among others.”

“Their coach has got experience and they will want to come and put up a challenge here. We shall miss Shaban, Jurua and Obenchan who are out injured but we have able replacements that will surely step up and fill the void,” KCCA FC head coach Morley Byekwaso said.

Brian Kayanja returned to training this week. The forward had got injured in the league game against Arua Hill SC.

Faisal Wabyoona and Haruna Lukwago are away on National Duty. The pair are with the U20 National Team.

Fillbert Obenchan, Muhamad Shaban and Jurua Hassan are ruled out due to injuries.

Dominic Ayella is away due to school commitments.
