Vipers SC skipper Milton Karisa claims that he is happy for his side’s 3-0 victory against Maroons although it wasn’t an easy game.

The Venoms registered a 3-0 victory on Friday evening at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende courtesy of Milton Karisa’s strike and Yunus Sentamu’s brace.

“It wasn’t an easy game but we thank God we managed to get the win and I managed to score and help the team win. Am happy for the win.” Karisa said.

Karisa scored off a rebound in the 20th minute after Maroons goalkeeper Simon Tamale had saved Bright Anukani’s power-packed freekick.

Five minutes after the hour mark, Sentamu doubled the lead with a superb no-look flick off impressive Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye well-weighted freekick.

In the 66th minute, Sentamu completed his pair with a low but powerful drive past Tamale after beautiful vision from Karisa.

Following the win, Vipers moved up the table to 12th on four points. they will take on Wakiso Giants FC on Tuesday, November 08th in the next match.
