Wakiso Giants head coach John Luyinda claims that they are ready for URA FC encounter as they will be targeting three successive wins on Tuesday.

The fixture comes on the back of two impressive wins at home to Black Stars (2-1) and away to UPDF (1-0).

According to Luyinda, the game will provide a stern test to his lads but remains confident of getting a positive result.

“Winning is very important for the stability of the team and going into tomorrow’s match, we need that win,” he said.

“We understand we are playing against a team with quality and experience but we feel ready to outcompete them,” he added.

“It is our second home game and the target at home will be to always do everything to get all points,” he further added.

Ronald Madoi, Titus Ssematimba and Marvin Nyanzi miss out again due to national team engagements with the U-20

Samson Kiirya and Joshua Lubwama are back from Mozambique where they featured for the Sand Cranes and are available for selection.

Frank Ssebuufu is doubtful after picking up a groin injury and will need to pass a late fitness test.

There have been four league meetings with each winning once and the rest are stalemates.

In the corresponding fixture last season, Wakiso Giants lost 5-0 despite drawing away in Ndejje in the reverse game.

Meanwhile, URA FC welcome back Hudu Mulikyi from suspension that saw him miss the 2-2 draw with Soltilo Bright Stars and could also have Derrick Nsibambi and Derrick Ndahiro available again.

Former Wakiso Giants forward Vianney Ssekajugo returns to face his former pay masters.

In their last game, URA threw away a two-goal lead to draw with the Stars and currently lie 7th on the table with 6 points, one behind Wakiso Giants although they have played one more game.
