Two time champions Makerere University Business School (MUBS) registered a 2-1 away hard-fought win against Kyambogo University in the Pepsi University Football League in the first leg of the quarter-final tie.

Lakba Joram gave Kyambogo a lead in the 44th minute at Kyambogo University grounds but they failed to hold their lead as Sharif Ssengendo equalised for MUBS in the 88th minute before Benjamin Nazar won all the three points for the Nakawa based University in the second minute of added time.

The two sides will face again in the second leg of quarterfinal tie on Tuesday October 11 in Nakawa as MUBS will be looking forward at consolidating their lead.
