ASFAR celebrated their tenth Moroccan Women’s Championship title by a landslide with 76 points from 26 matches for the 2021-22 season.
With 25 wins and a draw, unbeaten ASFAR clinched their ninth consecutive crown in style, having garnered a huge 13 points advantage over their closest challengers AMFFL with 63 points.
Impressed by the feat, head coach Mohamed Amin Aliwa, who replaced former tactician Abdallah Haidamou last December, is lost for words following his remarkable debut season in charge.
“There is no big secret behind our domestic dominance besides our management who have invested so much in the women’s football project, and who have offered the right conditions to succeed,”ASFAR Head Coach Amin Aliwa said.
“It’s a great pleasure to lead this team but at the same time, we feel very much the immense responsibility of bringing added value.”
“I have been part of the ASFAR entity for more than 13 years, and like most coaches, I started with the football school, my recent experience with the men’s football was with the reserve team of ASFAR.
“For the women’s team, the management entrusted me with the responsibility alongside my assistant Fatiha Laasiri in December 2021.”
The latest title win swells ASFAR’s cabinet to 18 major domestic silverware, including seven Throne Cups and Amine Aliouia opened up on the secret behind their domestic successes.”

The North African champions shone at the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League in Egypt last November when they defeated Equatorial Guinea’s Malabo Kings to clinch bronze.
The Royal Army side are en route to their ninth Moroccan Throne Cup, having reached the quarterfinal following a 6-0 thrashing of ASDCT on Tuesday.
