URA FC registered a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Onduparaka in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played at the Arena of Visions in Bombo on Tuesday evening.

Steven Mukwala and Ibrahim Dada scored for URA FC while Mansoor Safi scored Onduparaka’s goal in the game.

Onduparaka had two earlier chances that could have turned into goals but Alionzi Nafian saved for his side.
The Caterpillars then fell behind to a Steven Mukwala goal on 35 minutes after the striker was teed up by Viane Ssekajugo’s headed pass.
Mansoor Safi then equalized for Onduparaka when he struck a freekick from just after the half-way line to draw the Caterpillars level early in the second half.
The game seemingly headed for a draw but  substitute Dada Ibrahim headed home the winner on 83 minutes off Ivan Sserubiri’s left-footed cross to ensure the Tax Collectors take all three points.
The victory means URA FC consolidated third spot on the standings with 38 points, five behind leaders Vipers SC who have played a game less while Onduparaka stay in 13th on 18 points from 20 games.
