Wakiso Giants will be aiming at registering their first victory in four games when they host Mbarara City at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium on Wednesday evening in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Wakiso Giants head coach Alex Gitta has called on his boys to arrest the rot by registering victory on Wednesday.

“We face a side that is equally desperate points but we have the same hunger after a blip in the last couple of weeks,” Gitta said.

“In the last few days, we have tried to find the problems and managed to address them as coaches and hopefully, we shall see a different performance.”

“For now, the attitude and focus is proper and we are in a good shape to fight for all three points,” he added.

The Purple Sharks  now gone three successive games without picking a point in the league.

Sited  on the table at the moment with 27 points, the Purple Sharks must beat the Ankole Lions to restore hope of finishing decently on the table.
