Ghana will be targeting their first victory of the ongoing TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations when they take on Gabon at Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium on Friday evening.

The Black Stars kicked off the tournament by losing 1-0 against Morocco making Friday’s game a must-win for the West Africans.

Meanwhile, The Leopards of Gabon emerged 1-0 victorious over Comoros in their group opener.

Despite having to do it without their inspirational captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Gabon done the needed business in their opener against newcomers Comoros.

The pressure will be on Ghana as another unfavorable result could just mean that the Black Stars are in real trouble.

Elsewhere, Morocco and Comoros will face each other in their Group C matchday two of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations with the Atlas Lions targeting victory to seal the knockout stage of the tournament.

A valuable 1-0 win over Ghana gave Morocco the perfect start to their group campaign.

For Comoros, despite knowing how tough the mission is against favorites Morocco, they seem to accept the challenge and believe in their chance comes the game day.

A 1-0 defeat in their first ever AFCON appearance against Gabon was hurtful for coach Amir Abdou and his boys, but they proved they are not the team to underestimate in such a competition.
