Baby Cricket Cranes lose to Scotland in warm up game at U-19 World Cup.

The baby cricket cranes failed their 1st test in the Caribbean by 109 runs against Scotland in their 1st warm up game. The youngsters had two days of training after 5 days of quarantine to try and get used to the playing surfaces in the Caribbean.

Uganda won the toss and elected to field 1st, a decision that paid immediate dividends with Juma Miyagi picking an early wicket. However, the Scots managed to pace their innings well playing out their 50 overs managing to score 218/9.

In the chase Uganda failed to create meaningful partnerships losing wickets in quick intervals completely being undone by the slow bowling of Scotland as they folded for just 110 in 31 overs.

It was false start for the baby Cricket Cranes but they will have to regroup for their second warm up against Srilanka on Wednesday 12/01/2022.
