Wakiso Giants continue action in the league with a home game against high flying UPDF on Saturday.

The army side come into the game in good form and will truly be a tough test for the lads who against all odds picked a point in Arua.

The Purple Sharks have been ruthless at home since that opening day defeat against KCCA and have since beaten Busoga United, Bright Stars and Tooro United.

According to head coach Alex Gitta, they are facing an in-form side but they are ready to give out their best.

“We face a team that is on form. But expect to give a good performance. We shall respect them just like any other opponents but we need to show we are a class ahead of them by picking three points,” Alex Gitta said.

Frank Ssenyondo was with the Cranes in Tanzania and is definitely out. Defenders Edward Satulo and George Kaddu are suspended.

Fahad Kawooya is a big doubt as he nurses an injury that ruled him out of the game at Onduparaka.

This will be the fifth meeting between Wakiso Giants and the army side. The previous four meetings saw Wakiso Ginats winning twice, one win for UPDF FC and one draw.
