SUPL: KCCA FC sails past Police FC at Lugogo

Davis Kasirye, Charles Lwanga and Rogers Mato were on target as KCCA FC comfortably cruised past struggling Police FC with a 3-1 win.

Juma Balinya scored Police’s only goal in the game played at MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo on Friday evening.

Balinya gave Police FC a lead from a penalty after Tonny Mawejje was fouled in the fifth minute of the game.
KCCA FC equalised in the 17th minute of the game when Davis Kasirye nodded in following a good ball from Andrew Kigozi.
Lwanga put KCCA FC in the lead following a good work from Majwega whose shot was spilled by Ikara and Lwanga tapped home in the 25th minute of the game.
In the 54th minute, Lwanga dribbled past his man and shot but Ikara saved it for Police FC.
Mato sealed it in the 87th minute of the game when he held his nerve and slotted past Ikara following a good pass from Kawooya.
A win maintained KCCA FC on the top of the table with 26 points while Police FC remained on the bottom of the table with three points.
