Wakiso Giants FC have bounced back from their 1-0 loss against Express FC with a 4-2 victory against Soltilo Bright Stars at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso on Tuesday evening.

James Angu gave Soltilo Bright Stars a lead as earlier as the second minute of the game.

However, their lead didn’t last longer as Edward Satulo equalized for Wakiso Giants with a header in the 19th minute of the game.

One minute later, Ivan Bogere scored Wakiso Giants’ second goal as he connected well to head Namwanja’s cross home.

In the 35th minute, Angu restored parity for Soltilo Bright Stars from a sweet header after a well weighed cross from Marvin Joseph.

In the 40th minute, Soltilo Bright Stars goalkeeper Matovu came out of his goal to make a timely clearance to deny Wakiso Giants’ Bogere.

In the 51st minute, Sharif Kimbowa forced an own goal from Derrick Ngobi for Wakiso Giants’ third goal of the game.

Pius Kaggwa then sealed it in the 60th minute of the game with a good strike to make it 4-2 for the Purple Sharks.

The win left Wakiso Giants second on the log with 15 points from eight games while Soltilo Bright Stars is 14th with five points from seven games.
