Express FC versatile player Deus Bukenya claims that he is enjoying his time at the Wankulukuku based side.

The 26-year-old who joined the Red Eagles in September has managed three games where he’s been deployed in different positions something he says he’s welcomed whole heartedly and is enjoying every bit of it.

“It had been a while since I’d last played in the Uganda Premier League but just like any other competitive league, you have to be able to adapt and I am happy I have settled in well at Express FC.”

“I’ve always been able to play different positions and so far so good for me because I’ve now played as a holding midfielder and as a right back of which I’ve given my all.”

“For me to have an assist and a goal in three games is great, It gives me the confidence and motivation to keep performing better, I’d also like to appreciate my teammates and the technical team for the support,” he added.

Bukenya made his debut on match day three away to BUL FC playing as a holding midfielder in Express FC’s 1-0 victory.
