Stanbic Uganda Cup: Vipers smash BUL FC to emerge the champions

Vipers SC emerged the 2021 Stanbic Uganda Uganda Cup winners after their heavy defeat against BUL FC.

Livingstone Mulondo, Ceaser Manzoki (2), Yunus Sentamu (4) and Milton Karisa were on the scoresheet to help the Venoms smash BUL FC 8-1 at Fufa Technical Center in Njeru on Sunday.

Vipers almost scored in the third minute of the game as Milton Karisa headed into the back of the net, but he was flagged offside.

But in the fifth minute, Mulondo broke the deadlock with a powerful header off Bobosi Byaruhanga’s delivery.

Sentamu doubled Vipers’ lead after getting a superb assist from Paul Willa in the 27th minute.

In the 37th minute, Manzoki sretched Vipers’ lead with a beautiful assist from Milton Karisa before making it 4-0 two minutes later.

Sentamu made it 5-0 when he half volleyed on the turn and the ball went low into the net before he completed his hattrick after getting a high ball from Bobosi Byaruhanga in the 54th minute.

Karisa then curled the ball into the back of the net to make it 7-0 in the 65th minute before Sentamu made it 8-0 with his fourth goal of the day.

Hamis Tibita pulled one back for BUL FC in the 72nd minute to make it 8-1.
